It is a reminder that our goal is to be thoughtful in all we do at GEMS Athletic Center. We are dedicated to helping your kids feel successful at GEMS and we hope you find your time with us to be a rewarding and enjoyable experience. 

MISSION STATEMENT

At GEMS Athletic Center we believe that children are true gifts from God and we strive to create an environment where they not only grow physically and mentally, but also to facilitate in building their character. We believe in a growth mindset and are committed to each athlete and believe that gymnastics should be fun and affordable. 

Hours

Normal Hours: (Sept - May)

Mon             -   3 PM to 9PM

Tue & Wed  -   8:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Thu             -   3 PM to 8 PM

Fri                 -   2 PM to 8 PM

Summer Hours: TBD

Fall hours to be expanded Fall of 2022!!

Holiday Closures:

  • New Year's Day

  • Memorial Day

  • Independence Day (if this falls on a weekend then we will be closed the nearest weekday to observe)

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Day​

GEMS also closes for the week of Spring Break as well as the last week in August before labor day and the new school year begins. We are open during school Christmas break but will close for the day on January 1st and December 25th.

Due to winter weather, GEMS will be closed for morning sessions any time Lakeland School District cancels school because of unsafe road conditions. Afternoon classes on these days will depend on weather reports by early afternoon.

Our Facilities

GEMS Athletic Center was established in April of 2022. The former owners of North Idaho Gymnastics said a bittersweet goodbye with the confidence of knowing GEMS is in the very capable hands of two of our amazing coaches.

GEMS has been in it's current location at 14092 N. Ohio Street (right behind Ace Hardware) in Rathdrum since November 2015. The 8,000 sq. ft. building has a large front office, separate team & staff room, 3 bathrooms, a spacious observation area, and a party room for birthday parties.  Feel free to stop by and check us out!

Highly Qualified Coaches - Positive Environment

Coaches have extensive knowledge & training in spotting techniques, correct body form, and background checks done before they begin coaching. Coaches also complete U100 coaches training upon being approved for USAG membership.

Gymnasts are taught in specially designed progressions to build strength and prevent injury at every level.
